Basic Mission Making Guide
Mission Making can be overwhelming at first. This guide will help you get your feet under you, and set you on the right path.
First things first, you need to figure out what the objective of the mission is. The best missions aren't just “Go to point A, kill everyone there, then go to point B, rinse and repeat”. They have an overall objective, like supporting a push along a frontline, clearing a area of mines/IEDs, or evacing civilians from a conflict zone. Once you have your overall objective figured out, figure out what tools TCS will have at their disposal. This is everything from what rifle we carry to what support assets TCS have in the AO. Remember, every asset has a counter, and finding that balance between TCS steamrolling over the baddies and the baddies just kicking TCS in the mouth is a fine one. Unless your going for a “against all odds”, try to give TCS the tools to deal with what they are going up against.
The actual physical Mission Making can be broken down into three sections. Editor, Out of Editor, and In Game. In this guide, we'll go over all three of those sections. We're also going to cover first time set up.

First Time Set Up
Start off by downloading the Framework.
Unzip the folder, and place it somewhere that your going to remember. Inside the folder, you will find the framework compositions folder. Open that up and copy all the folders inside of that. Then, navigate to your Arma 3- Other Profiles folder, and open up the Compositions folder.
You'll find it here: C:\Users"YOUR USERNAME“\Documents\Arma 3 - Other Profiles"YOUR USERNAME”\compositions
Once you find the compositions folder, paste the folders you copied from the framework compositions folder.
