TeamSpeak is used for all of our voice communication, and is necessary for proximity voice in-game.
TeamSpeak is a fairly straight-forward application to use, but depending on your experience, could be a little confusing.
Go to the TeamSpeak 3 download page
Download and install the Windows 64-bit Client
Once installed, click here to connect to our server.
If this is your first time connecting, you'll be locked to Guest Lobby. Please wait for a staff member to give you permissions.
The server only allows guests to be connected for 10 minutes at a time, if you're kicked before a staff member can give you permissions, let us know in Discord.
Now that you're connected, you should add us to your Bookmarks for easy access later.
Consider setting your Default Channel to AFK on this page. Then you'll automatically connect to the AFK channel, and you'll have a chance to fix your audio before connecting to a channel with other people.
Using hotkeys is optional, but encouraged.
We don't require you to use Push-to-Talk to play, we do require it in a few of our channels.
In the search bar, type Push-to-Talk
Select Default under Push-to-Talk in the results
Click on No Hotkey Assigned to set your hotkey
No action is needed to install ACRE2 as it's installed automatically with Swifty and all keybinds are handled by Arma 3, but you may want to set a keybind to toggle ACRE2 on and off. This can be helpful for troubleshooting.
In the search bar, type acre2
Select acre2 under Toggle Plugin in the results
Click on No Hotkey Assigned to set your hotkey
Make sure you choose a key combination you won't hit accidentaly.
Be sure to ask in #tech-support on Discord if you can't figure it out.
Are you in Arma?
Toggle ACRE2 off. if you're in Arma with ACRE2 enabled, you won't be able to hear anyone who isn't also in ACRE. Even if you move to a different channel.
If you're not in Arma...
Open your options by hitting Alt+P and make sure your Playback settings are correct.
